LADY
2025
LADY is a contemporary dance and experimental theatre work that interrogates the tension between the aesthetics of traditional femininity and the inelegant, often grotesque experience of coming into womanhood. Through a series of vignettes that blend humour, sincerity, surrealism, fragmented dialogue, and contemporary choreography, this work examines the joy, fatigue, and silliness of trying to embody the many contradictions central to the performance of femininity.
