Naomi’s choreographic work is at the intersection of contemporary dance and theater in an effort to generate humanizing dance-theater works that explore existential questions. More specifically, works that unpack the more eccentric, neurotic, deranged, and complicated aspects of personality and society. Her intention is to cultivate empathy, introspection, and intimacy with a viewer.

Her work plays within the space between familiarity and distortion seeking to highlight the extraordinary through manipulation of the mundane or ordinary features of life. She applies magical realism to create vignettes of hyperreality.
